Crop Scouting and Mapping

Crop Scouting and Mapping

Precision farming, powered by drone intelligence

FarmingByDrone provides farmersgrowers and agronomist with field mapping and crop scouting as a service, using the latest high-resolution multispectral drone imagery and advanced analysis software to deliver fast, accurate, and actionable insights.

Drone scouting and mapping bring precision farming to life bygiving you a fast, more accurate, and detailed picture ofwhat’s really happening across your fields.

Using high-resolution multispectral imagery, drones can pickup early signs of poor establishment, nutrient deficiencies, waterlogging, weed pressure, pests, and disease, often days or even weeks before they are visible from the ground.

This early insight means you can act quickly and target the exact areas that need attention, rather than applying blanket treatments across the whole field.

With clear, field-wide visibility, you can prioritise your time, labour, and inputs where they will have the greatest impact. It turns raw data into practical, on-farm decisions, whether that’s variable rate applications, targeted spraying, or focused crop walking.

Precision farming, powered by drone intelligence, helps you reduce waste, protect margins, and consistently get the best performance from every hectare.

FarmingByDrone

produces a comprehensive range of reports designed to give you clear visibility of your land and crops, helping you make informed decisions that maximise your yield, minimise and optimise the effectiveness of your inputs, so improving your overall profitability.

Agronomist Support Services

FarmingByDrone supports agronomists with advanced scouting and mapping services that enable more precise, data-driven advice. Combining high-resolution drone imagery with practical field insight, we provide a clear, field-wide view of crop performance.

Using RGB and multispectral sensors, we highlight variation in crop health, biomass, and stress, supporting early identification of issues such as nutrient deficiencies, pest and disease pressure, weed infestations, and drainage problems.

Clear, easy-to-interpret maps fit seamlessly into agronomic workflows, helping prioritise field visits, focus on key areas, and guide targeted recommendations. Zonal insights support variable rate applications and precision spraying, improving input efficiency while protecting yield.

Time-series analysis tracks crop development through the season and measures the impact ofinterventions, strengthening decision-making over time. Delivered in compatible digital formats, all outputs integrate easily into existing farm management systems—helping agronomists work more efficiently and deliver better outcomes.

Stand Count Analysis

Determines the number of plants in a specific area and compares it to the expected number of plants. Suitable for vegetables and crops.
Estimate sowing quality, spot potential yield loss, evaluate replants, assess damages, harvest planning.

Plant Population Analysis

Provides information on the number of plants. Suitable for perennial plants, orchards or forestry missions.
Perform an inventory check, spot missing plant spots, evaluate replants, assess damages, harvest and thinning planting.

Plant Stress Analysis

Provides information on healthy plants and identifies anything else as stress. The report shows the size and location of problem areas caused by pest, weed, diseases, irrigation problems etc.
Check the overall performance of crops and fields and check them for stress. Discover any threatened areas of check-up.

Weed Control Analysis

Identifies weed infestations and allows farmers to take effective in-season corrective measures.
Identify and quantify the weed zones. Helps to create VR spraying maps and optimise herbicide usages.

Pest Damage Analysis

Detects pest damage areas and timely suppresses the threat.
Improve pesticide usage, determine the effectiveness of treatments.

Disease Detection Analysis

Analyses plants and crops at right growing stages on various diseases.
Improve fungicide usage, determine the effectiveness of treatments.

Waterlogging Analysis

Gives the opportunity to quickly and accurately locate all potential waterlogged areas in your field and reduce the negative effects of waterlogging, regardless of the field size and crop sort.

Flowering Analysis

Assesses flowering levels of your crops that will allow you to improve your operations.
It helps to improve pesticide usage, determine the best harvesting date and facilitates general harvest planning.

Field Overview Report

Creates a complete list overview of the field annotations. Determine the size of areas on your field, create a full overview of field activities, and highlight specific points on your field, their size, length, and GPS coordinates.

VRS Stand Count Analysis

VRS Stand Count analysis shows the exact number of plants, compares it to the expected results, and calculates percentages under the norm in each zone in the field that has the same seeding rate.

Plant Vigour Analysis

Plant Vigour analysis identifies the exact location, condition, strength, and lushness of vegetation. It helps determine where to perform soil samplings or apply necessary Ag operations. If plants are not affected by other biotic and abiotic factors, you can apply fertiliser based only on Plant vigour analysis

Potential Yield

Determines the percentage and the exact location of areas with good and poor yield potential. Plan yield and determine profit before harvest day. The report also lets users proactively and accurately decide on which corrective measures to take.
